My Action Research Project Plan of Action

My Action Research Project (ARP) is a year long research process that involves choosing something that I would like to change, research, collect data and document the process. My Action Research Project will focus on increasing the use of technology by teachers at my school site:

(1) Provide teachers with knowledge and skills needed to incorporate the use of technology in their curriculum. Ready to use lesson plans that include the use of technology and where to find them would be an example of this.

(2) Provide teachers with the opportunity to participate in technology professional development that will increase their knowledge base. Teacher led technology workshops would be an example of this.

(3) Establish a technology infrastructure that would facilitate the use of technology in the classroom. Setting up a wireless network that would provide internet access to all classrooms would be an example of this.
